Blip Roasters
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Blip Roasters app collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: April 28, 2026
Who this applies to
This policy applies when you use the Blip Roasters app, place orders, RSVP for events, enable notifications, or interact with related app features.
Blip Roasters is located at 1301 Woodswether Rd, Kansas City, MO 64105. Some services in the app are provided by trusted technology partners for hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, and event content.
Information we collect
Account information may include your name, email address, profile image, sign in method, account access information, and phone number if you provide one for support.
Order information may include cart items, modifiers, special instructions, pickup timing, order totals, payment provider order identifiers, payment status, and receipt links. We do not store full card numbers or complete card details.
Event information may include RSVPs, RSVP status, waitlist status, and event records from the Blip Roasters events calendar.
Notification information may include notification identifiers for your browser or device, device browser information, and notification preferences.
Usage and device information may include pages viewed, app interactions, approximate device and browser details, error logs, request metadata, and security logs needed to operate the app.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate your account, process orders, calculate totals, send order updates, maintain RSVP lists, support push notifications, protect against abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app experience.
We may use your email address for account sign in, order support, important service messages, and replies to requests you send us. Marketing messages will only be sent where permitted and can be managed separately from service messages.
Payments and Square services
Payments are processed by Square. Card entry is handled through secure Square payment tools so complete card details are sent directly to Square and not to Blip Roasters servers.
Square may process customer, order, and payment information under its own privacy terms. We store the provider identifiers and summaries needed to show order status, receipts, and history in the app.
Analytics
We use app analytics to understand traffic and product usage in aggregate. Analytics helps us see which pages and features are used so we can improve reliability and customer experience.
Analytics data is used for operational insight and product improvement. We do not sell analytics data.
How we share information
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the app, including hosting, data storage, authentication, payment processing, secure provider integrations, email delivery, analytics, and event content services.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect customers and staff, to investigate fraud or abuse, or to protect the rights and safety of Blip Roasters and our community.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep information as long as needed to provide the app, comply with accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate order records.
You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app, visit /delete-account for instructions, or request data help by contacting Blip Roasters through the official website or in store. Account deletion removes sign-in methods, profile data, notification identifiers, RSVPs, and saved app data. Some records, such as completed purchases and payment records, may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud prevention reasons.
Your choices
You can sign out of the app at any time. You can disable push notifications in your profile or through your device settings.
You can manage Google account permissions through Google. You can manage email code access by controlling access to your email inbox.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, provider-managed payment handling, server-side validation, secure provider verification, and rate limiting for sensitive actions.
No system is perfectly secure. Please use a secure email account, keep your device updated, and contact us if you believe your account or order history has been accessed without permission.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will be posted in the app with the updated date shown above.
